Our Planet
I abandoned the spring theme today as the rain continues. After more news about the radiation in Japan, and now another Middle East crisis with people suffering, I chose to examine our little world a bit closer.
This shot is taken while President of France, Nicolas Sarkozy is speaking on television. He is explaining why French fighter planes are in the air in a "joint coalition force" over Libya.
Our planet is small and we are so tightly bound to all that happens. I love the notion that when a butterfly flaps its wings in Japan, the weather changes in North America - this was one of the original statements made by a physicist studying weather and linking it to the definition of Chaos Theory.
Peace is what we need.
