Parrots ahoy

The first day we arrived on the island, we saw a green parrakeet shaped object fly across in front of us and disappear into the trees. Wow. Is it native, or a one off? We didn't see any more, until today, when walking back across the beach we suddenly came across loads of them, squabbling over some food thrown by people feeding them.
I guess that answers that one, they are native to the island!
