Lilies - Silver Wedding Celebrations
Our friends G & E had asked us to lead the singing at their Silver Wedding Service. We were brushed up bright and early. This was taken just after 9 am, with the sun streaming in through the church stained glass windows.
A very happy day, meeting with old friends and new - some had even travelled from the USA. A bus journey down to the coast for an excellent lunch with wedding cake and speeches. Stunning views over to snowcapped Goatfell on Arran. Lots of little touches to make the day special.
Home for a quick change, and then spent the evening chilling, with loads of stories and chat. The best one had to be from our friends from across the Pond, who made a speedy bus trip into Glasgow City Centre to take it all in. They couldn't believe the number of scantily clad young girls around town, and on the bus home they were sitting in front of a guy who spent the entire journey on his mobile phone arranging a fight with a family member. Thankfully they got off the bus before he did.
