Out for a family swim

This duck family swam from one side of Secord pond to the other. It was a gorgeous day at the pond which is in a wildlife refuge not far from our home. The conservation area belonged to the Secord family who had a veterinary clinic in the country and operated a pet cemetary on the property. We have a couple of cats buried here. I'll blip the mound one day. It's a good sized hill with a dog statue at the top. We go to the pond now and then for a picnic or a stroll. It's very peaceful here. Edward back-blipped a snapping turtle from this same outing. Lots of minnows and little crayfish were seen as well.
