Painted wall #1

This painted wall is called 'Le théâtre des Charpennes' and represents life in this neighbourhood of Villeurbanne (east suburb right next to Lyon) in the nineteenth century. It was painted recently (1998) and is one of the many painted walls in Lyon. I'll certainly take pictures of many others when I resume my walks around town on weekends, now that the weather is compatible with strolling!
