Would I lie to you?

We were lucky enough to get some tickets for a recording of the TV show Would I Lie To You? which was being filmed at Pinewood Studios. The shot shows the James Bond stage in the distance.

We headed off good and early (doors open at 6pm), got there and were issued with numbered yellow wrist bands. Great we thought.....until they started calling people to be seated at about 6.45. Other coloured bands got called before we did and then they started calling very small batches of about 20 people. Then they announced that anyone with a number of over 150 would certainly not get in.....we were 127-130. After a tense ten minutes, we were finally called - the very last group to get in that night and only on the condition that we didn't mind sitting separately.

The recording was great fun and it was very interesting to see all the cameras moving around and the last minute make up checks. A really fun thing to do with all four of us. The panellists were all so quick witted and there was a lot of physical comedy too. How they will edit the over 2 hrs of filming to just a 30 minute show remains to be seen.
