Bees and blossom

I've been watching all the bees visiting my blossom today. I went out and stood under the tree which was humming because it was so busy.

My tree isn't as fluffy as it used to be and the blossom used to be a bright pink but is now almost white. Are there any gardeners in Blipland that know why?
