Day of Laughter!

Off the family set this morning, in convoy (2 cars) to deepest Fife, a part I hadn't been to before, to visit my husband's friend, colleague and fellow blipper, Scott (Silverback in blip world) and his family.

They live in a lovely old house overlooking a village green, the type of place where everyone knows each other and where community spirit is alive and well! If you wanted to have a secretive, private life, then this would not be the place for you! Anyway, I liked it.

It's funny, thinking back over the day we had as I write this, I felt like I had known this family for years, we got on so well. I had been told to expect beans on toast (think this was a private joke) but the feast we enjoyed for lunch meant that I needed no tea tonight apart from an oatcake on cheese. Thanks Mrs S.

We had a wee photo session, where I was checking Scott's macro lens, in the converted bedroom/playroom in studio (very impressed) where wee Ben decided to upchuck his lunch narrowly missing Scott's camera by a millimetre (Phew) - but the white sheet that travels from the floor to the ceiling had to be rewashed and was told it takes 45 mins to iron - Well will keep Scott out of mischief tonight!

We then had a walk down to the harbour where Papa almost passed out seeing Breagha swim almost to the other side of the bay and back after her ball was thrown (ball on stick) by Lisa, mistakenly (I'm sure) into the water. She is lying snoring on the chair after her marathon swim. On the walk back I had a lovely chat with Bob, their 9 year old daughter. They should be very proud of her, she is such a friendly girl, bit of a tomboy I found out, told me all about how to play with nerf(?) swords.

Anyway, the three of them definately scored with GG. Don't know how many times on the way back she sung their praises. So next time you guys, it's our turn to host! Thanks again for a fun afternoon!

Not sure what was going on in this picture, but I was told to point out that Scott was NOT leaning in for a kiss!
