She's taken a shine to copycatting people the last few days, quite subtle unchoreographed stuff that normally only the pair of us notice. Today she sat on the sofa next to my mum, throwing back her p'tee* in unison with Nain and giving her legs a little wigglyjig of contented excitement when she got the timing right.

It brought tears to my eyes.
