A Detailed Landscape

Although it was Chinese New year today I did not get any shots of it...there was not much happening this year and I had been hoping to catch a Lion dance but I didn't manage to.

I like this picture because of the clean detail in it. The ridges in are hands and fingers are so small that there seems to be a subtle beauty in being able to capture them on camera.

I've come to the conclusion that a photograph of most things close up look grand and is much easier to achieve than a photograph of something from a far.
