Work in progress! part 2

Spent the last ten hours painting scenery, hanging curtains, and making costumes - totally exhausted so made my excuses and left just as they were starting the technical rehearsal - they could be there until midnight!!

Work in progress - part 1

The portrait of Lady Fiona above the fireplace is the one I created a frame for - using bubblewrap, beads, hair accessories and gold spray - and is the solution to my 'what is it' object! All those years watching Blue Peter paid off!!

Tomorrow night is the dress rehearsal so I'll try and get a blip of the completed set.

The play is a Thriller-Comedy called Burying the Hatchetts by an American playwright Whitney Ryan Garrity. This will be the first time it's staged in the U.K.
