Back home

As much as I love travelling I always look forward to coming home.

Today's treat was a huge roast for lunch and pint of lager - wonderful.

As I drove across the Cotswolds to the pub I reflected on my holiday and how it felt being back.

There are some experiences that really touch you and change you and leave an imprint on your soul. I really feel enriched by my time in Marrakech. It has an energy about it that is earthy and grounding as well as enlivening and exuberant.

As someone who spends a lot of time in my head - thinking, analysing, deconstructing - it was pure escapism to be completely in the moment. When everything around you calls to each of your senses it's impossible to drift away!
