Getting closer

A bit better than this attempt. It's so frustrating. I see probably on average two or three Red Kites a day. It seems in the last year they have moved south of the Chilterns to us. Everytime I either don't have my camera or they've flown away by the time I get there. Today I managed to get out of the patio door (cutting my finger in the rush) with my camera. It had flown a distance by then but I caught it. Next time I'll go for an in focus one.....
