St Mary's Lighthouse, Whitley Bay

We had a nice day today. Every now and then we have a movie day with some friends of ours. All four of us pick a genre out of a hat a week or two in advance and then go and choose a film to watch that fits that genre. Today was the day we watched them all.

Our friends live over at the coast. We have a flat there that is currently empty so it was a good chance to check up on it and also squeeze a little trip to the beach in. Obviously I took the camera. I've been a fool though as I had been taking shots indoors with it and forgot to wind the ISO back down hence the graininess in this shot. Oops.

No kitchen progress today, well a tony bit but nothing to boast about. Hard work starts again tomorrow evening.
