The Boathouse

Not my in-laws' property! We were out on a family stroll beside the River Thames when my eye was drawn to this fascinating contemporary house (built next to a somewhat older boathouse) on the opposite bank of the river a few hundred metres upstream of Marsh Lock.

The stroll in the bright spring weather ended very pleasantly with tea and cake in another fascinating architectural gem, the River and Rowing Museum at nearby Henley.
