spring at last, spring at last...

A heavy morning with my parents and the social work department looking at nursing home options for mum :( Everybody was great and couldn't have been nicer and more helpful, and maybe it's going to be just for a couple of weeks respite, but not a happy task nevertheless.

Took myself off to Nero in Morningside after lunch for my own respite. Have started reading 'the heart of the buddha's teaching' by Thich Nhat Hanh, a very wise book.
