Pink blossom

It was lovely and sunny at lunchtime and I just had chance to pop into the small cemetery near work in search of a photo. A very large bee was bumbling about in the blossom. I tried chasing it around but soon realised that it would take longer than my allotted break to capture the bee properly.

The blossom was beautifully pink and perfectly open. I like the spikiness of the stamens of the flowers. The blue sky is just visible through the blossom.

Busy day at work and still worn out after a very busy weekend. Son number 2 is 17 tomorrow so I will spend the day feeling remarkably ancient!
