Fort Valerien

This is the fort on the top of Mont Valerien, near where I live. At night it is lit up in the colours of the French flag, and in the daytime you can see it from the Eiffel Tower.

Went for a walk with A and K today (D was working) round Parc Monceau and up to Place de Clichy where we found another really nice park and an adorable little bar with the most violent taps in the entire world. A left early, then K and I walked up to Montmartre, all the way round a huge cemetery which we failed to find the entrance to and then went and got KFC which was delicious. Then we went home because we were still tired from the night before!
