Ben Lomond

Had a lovely meander to Glasgow today , beautiful sunny day and passing Loch Fyne, Loch Long and Loch Lomond on the way was a real treat with the water as blue as the sky.

Must commend the very helpful staff at Glasgow Central Station who were very cheerful and happy to help us get the best deal, far better than any on the internet! I had read an article in the Herald who had investigated the big differences in prices, journey times etc between what various stations, providers and internet providers were offering. So I was really thankful I had seen this and had already checked the internet offers. The Central was considerably lower and a better deal as we are travelling all the way from Arrocher Station ( between Loch Long and Loch Lomond to London for less than the internet price from Glasgoe to London.

Anyway having had a successful day in Glasgow with a lovely meal in Great Western Road , served by , again, cheerful and friendly staff we had a lovely meander back home. Ben Lomond stood out in the sunlight below the gathering clouds, so we stopped the car and parked, climbed a hill to get above the tree line, well as near as I could get, no doubt Kaybee could have held his camera well above the tree line, but being vertically challenged this was as high as I could hold the camera.
