Giant sequoia

todays photo is not meant to be beautiful but a documentation of what is probably one of the large Sequoiadendron giganteum in metro Denver. For many years it was thought they would not survive our harsh steppe climate, however some home owner probably 20-25 years ago took a chance. this tree is on the corner of Tufts and Penn. in Englewood

There is a little damge on the SW side of the tree, possible for an exhust pipe on a parked truck? Lets hope it grows on for a long time just like its kin in the Sierra Nevada of California.
