Spring At Last

The sun is shining, the Ladybirds are in abundance and the the buds are starting to open.

I thought this tree had died due to the harsh winter weather but how wrong could I have been. These buds are proof that it is alive and kicking and about to burst into bloom as soon as it can.

I love the contrasting colours and used the Super Macro feature, the art of which is to be honed but I am pleased with this result.
