Aubrietia barn

Just didn't know what to blip today, the sun had already disappeared, shall I bother. Luckily the aubrietia is coming into its glory on the old barn wall so here it is! All self sown and probably originating from a row of cottages that were pulled down in the 50's just to the left of the hay trailer.

The whole place is stinking today because a nearby farmer is spreading the rotting muck over the fields nearest us! It has to be done and we will be doing the same in a couple of weeks. Our neighbour saw two Little Owls in the old oak tree yesterday.

Down to Devon for the night tomorrow to visit N's uncle who is in hospital.
