J9 has not been able to use the carving grinder for over 6 months now due to her back. But the spinal rehabilitation and some strong painkillers saw her trying out the new long arm grinder on an offcut of oak, before she attacks the tree trunks that are now nicely seasoned.

Its an amazing tool, it carves detail like stroking a warm knife over butter... i know because she briefly let me play with it under adult supervision. There really is something cool about power tools, and for me their attraction really is directly proportional to their maiming potential...
