More random sculptures in Vlaardingen found! Pair of bronze kangaroos in 'De Lickebaert', an area of woodland next to the Nieuwe Maas river, joining the cities of Vlaardingen & Maassluis.

I enjoyed a beautiful walk this afternoon, first through the afore-mentioned woodland then found myself a lovely, little suntrap by the river. Plonked myself down on some rocks, listened to the relaxing sounds of the water, enjoyed the smell of the seaweed and mossy covered rocks, gazed at the numerous boats passing by. It was nice to feel so chilled, especially after yet another restless night.
