NO IFS, NOT BUTS, NO CUTS!!!

Today at Glasgow University the student protesters who had been occupying the Hetherington building for the past 7 weeks were asked to leave. When they refused the police were called. So it was interesting having 80 police officers and a helicopter on campus today! I thought it was pretty unnecessary to waste so much money on having such a number of police officers. In the end everyone left and a few people were arrested. Including my friend's flatmate, he did nothing wrong and was released in time for his flat viewing later on.
Pretty eventful day I think.
