Inside Outside

In the quiet late afternoon sun when everybody except us had left site, I finally caught a glimpse of how our home will look.

Even though the timber ceiling is still waiting for replacement boards, my design vision of the inside flowing seamlessly outside is starting to show.

It was worth having the Fineline windows with their minimal frame sections and 3m high panes of structural glass to allow the outside soffit to meld with the inside ceiling.

By the way, the tracks for the sliding oak shutters (think cricket sight screens) are also in place but the shutters won't be installed for another month.
