Today is World Water Day.

Why does that matter? Because Water changes everything.

March 22 is World Water Day, a time designated each year since the 1992 Rio de Janeiro Earth Summit to focus attention on the importance of water and on the large gap between those who turn on a tap and have clean water and those who must struggle even to find and carry water that is often not safe or clean

For most of us living in developed nations, the idea of a ?water crisis? sounds like an awfully remote problem but for an estimated 1.1 billion people around the world relying on unsafe drinking-water is not.

When?s the last time you had to worry about where you would find drinkable water?
