Newmillerdam during the BEST part of the day....

This reservoir is five mins drive from my home, I feel very lucky to have somewhere so pretty just about on my doorstep. I met some American tourists here one day and they were amazed that I lived there! "Oh my, you LIVE here....!?" they said. Well yeah, lucky me! I heard a couple of woodpeckers, a chiff-chaff, lots of crows, saw loads of robins, swans, ducks, geese.... It really is a great place and best to visit when the water is still and most people are in bed or on their way to work.... I have an hour before I start work as I have the luxury of working two mins walk from home! My life is ACE innit!!!?
