Wall to wall sunshine!

I felt the day deserved a trip to the lake
(but not in a 'don't jump off the roof Dad'* way).

And on the way I bought a ticket to a photography talk on Saturday :-)

I had a very good, peaceful and solitary walk; never saw a soul.

And on arrival home, wandered over to the trees and this Peacock landed right in front of me. I'd have preferred a different lens, but this was The Blip.

I still feel that same delight that I recall from childhood, on seeing any butterfly up close and personal...
...And I love it when they land on noses!

Simple pleasures.
