A blessing in disguise

Unfortunately Ben had a bad night last night with running high temps and as a result so did I! So this morning I decided that he would need a day off school (first one this year and I believe he did not have a day off the year before!) to recuperate.

This was a bit of a blessing in disguise really as it gave me a whole day to be a domestic queen - washing, hoovering, changing beds, cleaning - I even cleaned and hoovered the car! And I hate my car!!

There is nothing nicer than line dried bedding I think and I cannot wait to get into bed tonight now!

By about 3.30pm Bear was getting a little bored which I took as a good sign and thought that a stroll on Climping beach in the fresh air and the sun would do him the world of good - he should sleep well tonight! Fingers crossed!
