Hiding Place

While dusting, which I do every now and then, and one of those occasions was this morning, I had a closed look at our elephant bookends. We got them on line, not that long ago, and I don't suppose I've examined them too closely until now. I noticed the wood was different in the central panel and that there seemed to be a gap round the edge of it.

When Himself came home at lunchtime we had a bit of a shuggle at it and what do you know - a secret hiding place in each of them! Unfortunately no bundles of banknotes or diamond rings inside them - nothing in fact - but still quite a surprise!
