Road Runner
A very strange day without Oscar as John had taken him to the kennels for his week long holiday while we are in London for the Scotland v Brazil game. Really looking forward to this , our journey which is definitely a meander down to Glasgow, starts here by car to Inverary , up loch Fyne, over the Rest and be Thankful to Arrocher station ( friend kindly driving us ) then the West Highland train round Loch Long , past Helensburgh and along the River Clyde to Glasgow where we catch the London train. Hope we get the weather as this is such a scenic route.
Back to today , definitely missing Oscar so went a wander up the farm road hoping to get an interesting / different shot of the moss or new plants on the dry stane dyke which line the road uphill. However I spotted this little rooster , a new addition to the farm. An absolutely gorgeous creature. Would have loved better light o pick up the irridescence of the tyrqoise / blue feathers in his black plumage, but you can't have everything. The tenagers who live on the arm , have nicknamed him the " Road Runner"
Will have lots of time to catch up with fellow blippers as soon as I have finished packing. Won't be back tomorrow but back by next Wednesday when we get back from our big city trip, wonder what my take on London will be?
