Wylam Bridge in black and white
Mal my tog buddy and I decided to photograph 7 bridges running up the River Tyne but only managed to achieve a single bridge on this particular weekend.
We arrived in Wylam to photograph our first bridge known locally as Points Bridge and situated at Hagg Bank. This is a single span bridge which opened on 6 October 1876 at a cost of £16,000. This bridge has so many angles to photograph from we actually spent the whole day taking pictures of it?
Took this using my 5D Mk II with the Canon 24 - 105 F4L IS at 28 mm ~ 32 sec ~ F13.0 ~ ISO 50 ~ multi segment metering ~ ND10 filter.
We do plan to photograph further bridges this coming Sunday so watch this space.
