Spring Sunshine

Another lovely warm day, so appreciated after such a harsh winter. I liked the bright colour of the daffodils against these carved toadstools.

A busy day, and then off to an interesting evening learning more about the renovation of the Queen's Park Bandstand area. I know the place well, and remember the previous staging which was burnt down in 1996. It will be good to see the new Queen's Park Arena being used as a multi purpose performance space. ZM Architecture who won the design competition have kept the hillside terracing feature for the seating area. Hopefully Phase 1 of the project will be in use by next year.
