Llama Lake Infrared
Clear, sunny skies for a change here today so I took out my IR filter with the the hope of making some cool infrared images. Since I was using the Canon Powershot G11, I was able to see a "live view" of the infrared landscape which helped immensnsly with the composition and exposure.
Skies, water and foliage make great IR scenics and this was a lot of fun.
Technique:
- G11 set to Av f4.5 / ISO 1600
- R72 IR filter placed in front of lens.
- Basic image optimization in Windows Live Photo Gallery.
I'm also working on a IR panorama from here in Photoshop CS5 and will it post on Flickr soon...
