Slow works

They say "trust in the slow works"...I don't know who "they" are, and as much as it frustrates me sometimes, it is still true. Good things take their time.
Nature takes her pretty little time - seeds don't just bust out into a tree the second they hit the dirt, there is a process. I like to call this process "torture" as it relates to my life, but apparently there is good reason things happen the way they do.

Went to a job fair today. Indisputably one of the lamest experiences of my life... not to get on a soap box, I'll just park that topic there.

In other news, I was offered a part time job later this evening (VERY unrelated to the job fair). Thank GOD! I was beginning to think the world was conspiring to rid itself of me using a series of events to force me to live out the rest of my life under my bed... Not today, suckers! :)
