Street Art #3 - The middle bit
This creature forms the middle part of a long bit of street art that sits on the end wall of the skate park on my way to school.
I thought about putting this in to the 2011 challenge under this weeks' theme of 'planning' because it's obviously taken someone some time to get this together before its execution.
Executed the 'magic double' last night of some night time mountain biking and a trip to the pub.
To those who may be interested, there were bike related troubles deep in the woods of Ashton Court which involved the disintegration of my disc brake pads, which gave us a bit of grief.
There's a bit of open ground at the top of Ashton Court (an old country estate which sits over Clifton Suspension Bridge which has extensive parklands, woods and a mansion) where we turned off our headlights and just gazed up at the night sky in complete silence.
The sky had that deep blue/black colour with fringes of orange on the horizon. A bit of a spiritual moment.
It was so warm we rode in short sleeves and it was that perfect temperature which seems to happen a lot in spring - the perfect Goldilocks temperature!
Back home and then to the pub. Had a great chat but one pint more than intended and regretted it when Son #2 was trying to lay siege to our bed at 1.30am.
Such is life? Another gorgeous day but one down on the gorgeous scale from yesterday. Things could change..!
