Shearing shed window

Today was an eventful day, had to go to Christchurch to drop someone off at the airport, my how Christchurch airport has changed, bigger but definitely not better in my opinion, then on to meet my sister for lunch, can't believe that I lived in this city for so many years and because of the earthquake I had to find an alternative way to get to where Anne works, challenging me not only to remember street layouts, but ones that were still accessable so I had to do a ticky tour around the outskirts of the city to get there.
Amazingly some parts of the city seem barely touched by the quake yet others completely demolished. It was a sobering day I visited a school friend who lives by the hills, their house is badly damaged, estimated cost to repair 100000 dollars plus!!!
My choice of photo for my blip was at my other sisters place in the country, a view from the shearing shed window, covered with years of grime, cobwebs and a broken pane of glass. A peacefull setting with only the wind blowing the cobwebs and rattling the tin door, the smell of sheep from past, and the sheep in the pen ready for whatever was lined up for them today.
