Candles

Yesterday we had a powercut after the underground cables at the end of our road caught fire. The power was off from 4.30pm until 6am this morning! We spent the evening by candlelight...homework and reading still got done, the boys had a game of chess, we ate pasta for dinner (thankful for a gas hob) and watched a DVD on the laptop-which luckily had enough charge to last the film!
