Don't let the Sun...
...go down on me.
We abandoned the normal after school routine and scooted off to the seaside. What followed was a delicious chippy tea and then off to find pebblish treasures on the beach. I collected a gorgeous layered sedimentary rock, two heart shaped pebbles and one as soft as smooth skin in my selection this time but this is a new looting spot so I expect my collection to grow. The kids were really interested in the shapes and 'designs' of the huge variety- I found myself acting as geologist/teacher, I'd forgotten how much I must have picked up along the OU journey.
With hot chips shared out amongst the kids I left mine wrapped and camera in hand sprinted out of the car to capture the delightful scene in front of me. I snapped until the sun went down but in truth this was the one that made me feel most honoured to have caught the moment.
