Putting on a brave face......not!

We had a beautiful day walking on the beach. We took a picnic and stopped for a drink in a local village. Unfortunately towards the end of the walk we had to cross an estuary...there was nothing for it but to go barefoot! Oh My Days! how cold was that water!! have you ever had an ice cream headache in your feet? My calf muscles tightened until they were going to burst! But despite this a good day was had by all!
