Sea Anemone
Went down to the beach this afternoon for the children to burn off some energy (which they seemed to have in abundance) and throw stones in the sea. We didn't get as far as the waters edge before this little lady caught our eye and
Jack
and
Erin
were lucky enough to have cuddles. Once Darren joined us we went searching for a different kind of treasure to when we are geocaching. The tide was out and we went searching the rock pools. Among the tiny crabs, limpets and winkles were some rather lovely sea anemone like this one. Jack and Erin loved it and would have stayed for ages even though they were wet from continuously stepping in the sea water, but the tide was against us and tummies were rumbling so we headed home. Promised them we will go back again soon. If the sun is shining like today we may head down tomorrow.
Wishing everyone a lovely weekend.
Yesterdays back blip <----- that way.
