A Royal Invitation

That's the name of the window display and promotion at William Ashley on Bloor Street in Toronto. It's a higher-end china shop and I quite like the display. Clever. At left was a three-tier wedding cake made up like a dress with a mannequin at the top. At right, behind the glass are a series of invitations and envelopes. The whole deal is a celebration of Royal Weddings in England in recent decades and the upcoming nuptials of William and Kate. Dangling in the background are hundreds of strung origami cranes.
