Bunker Hill Monument

It was the first clear day all week, so I decided to go to the Bunker Hill Monument (which is on Breed's Hill, strangely enough). It's weird to think that a battle was fought on the same hill where children and puppies play now.

On a side note, Charlestown, the neighborhood where this is, is DISGUSTINGLY ADORABLE. I love it.

On another side note, my legs are still noodles after the climb up the circular stone staircase (294 steps!) to the top.
