Queue

I'm a big fan of technology. There's nothing more exciting than opening a box and seeing your newly purchased item in its original state. Unscratched, still smells of the factory and it's much much smaller than you ever anticipated it to be.

But even I can't understand the excitement that surrounds the new IPad, and why these people photographed here would stay outside ALL night to be in the queue to get one.

What this photograph doesn't show is, at the point I walked by (some 5 hours before the IPad went on sale), there were around 230 people queued up waiting... and around half of them already seemed to have the old IPad.

Crazy.
