mother's day

So it is mother's day here in Egypt. The family is a very important part of society and this day feels as if it should be a national holiday. One of our my students gave a me a perfume in honour of mother's day which I thought was really sweet (even if it was for men and that I ended up giving it to J) Parent's evening today round one - went smoothly apart from a couple of pushy parents who are just not happy unless it's an A!
