Signs of spring

I love the seasons in the UK. I love seeing them change and noticing the signs of a new season arriving. Like the first crocuses, daffodils coming out on the banks by the city walls, lighter evenings.

And the anticipation of sockless days resulting in bothering to adorn my toenails.

These things are timeless.
