Lauwersmeer

Today I returned to the scene of this blip. The sky looked quite promising with clouds but still huge areas of blue in there. That would look great with the reflections of the sky in the water. Unfortunately

* instead of opening up more, the sky turned more cloudy as I approached the location.
* the ND grad filters I ordered still haven't arrived.

I decided to experiment somewhat with a technique I read about here. The result isn't perfect, but this is without much processing; I only did some minor tweaking.

Tomorrow there is going to be another meeting of the Urban Photo Collective. This month's theme is "Speed". Looking forward to the event...
