Where to queue?

After a busy week at work a night out was definitely on the cards, so off up town we trotted. We drank, we sang, we danced, we laughed.

Great wee night out, followed by a trip to the chippy on the way home. Off I went to order my food, totally oblivious to the fact that there was a queue of people waiting before me. John took great satisfaction in telling the girl who claimed to be at the forefront of this queue that in Scotland, you are supposed to queue along the front of the glass hotplate and not at the back of the chippy which would normally indicate that you had probably already been served and waiting on your food. John offered to let the girl go before him. She did.
