Fallen Stars

These stars are "Gel Gems", and used to be a selection of colours, but are now all either pink or clear, having been stuck to my window for about 3 years.

Sometimes we can be like these stars. We can start something with the best intentions, we can look great, we can be great and fulfil our aim very effectively. But over time, we can begin to pick up dust, we begin to lose our colour; eventually, we can end up being pretty rubbish at what we set out to do.

How do we avoid this? It's painfully obvious. Keep God first in our lives.

It's so easy to let other things come before God in our lives - even our ministries! - every day we need to make sure that the big guy is no. 1.

Had a really good youth meeting tonight. One of our elders was leading the meeting, on communication, especially within our families.
